Make your own collar.

As you may have seen in previous posts I really like detachable collars.  So after seeing this idea on Rookie I decided it would definitely be worth a try. 

You'll need:

-an old collared shirt

-scissors

Lay the shirt out on a flat surface and cut along the dotted line as shown in the picture below.

You should be left with this.

Taadaa!

Collar.

A while ago my friend, Laura, gave me this necklace for my birthday.  It's from Lovisa and I really love it.  It can totally change an outfit to be much more formal or fun and because it's white it works with almost all tops.

'White lace and promises.'

This afternoon I noticed that my Pinterest page is filled with loads of pictures of white lace dresses, skirts and tops.  I think finding one for myself soon is in order;)

Golden triangles.

Yesterday I finally got to see my friend Caitlin for the first time in what feels like an age.  We went what was supposed to be just window shopping, had a lovely dinner and went back to her house to watch old episodes of Big Bang Theory.  I really did mean to only window shop and stay away from buying but when I saw the collar tips on this shirt I simply couldn't help myself. I've been looking for something like this for ages, and anyway it was from Mr Price so it didn't make that much of a dent in my purse.

 

I also picked up this very cute little ring.

Seeing as though I've spent a large portion of today looking at pretty pictures on the internet I thought I'd share some of the beautiful clothes I've found that I would just love to have.  I really wish that every time I repined clothes on Pinterest they could just magically appear in my cupboards but no such luck. Sigh.
